MINNABELLE WOOD On Monday, April 12, 2004 in her 93rd year, Minn reached the end of a long and very full life. Minn was born November 4, 1910 in Pilot Mound, MB in her grandmothers sod house. Cherished wife of Lorne, for 66 years, she was especially loved by her daughters, Lynne Sherba (Ray) and Shirley Vickery (Gary). She was always proud of her four grandchildren, Lori, Karen, David and Timothy and her seven great-grandchildren. Minn was predeceased by her sisters Mabel and Kathryn. Minn enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed being outdoors, having coffee with friends, travelling, camping, work bees at the church and all family celebrations. She was Dads "right hand man" in many of his projects and also involved for many years in Womens Ministry in Calvary Temple. She will be remembered for her roast beef dinners, flapper pie, cookies and butter tarts. Her quiet, generous spirit, along with her amazing energy and work ethic, was an example to all of us. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 19 in the Sanctuary at Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave St. Minns family wishes to thank the staff of Vista Park Lodge for the loving, personal care provided her for the past five years.
