BARRIE JAMES WILLIAMSON It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of Barrie James Williamson, on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at the age of 68 years. Barrie leaves to mourn his loving wife Claudia, of 47 years; daughter Sandra (Randy) of Winnipeg; sons, Jim (Diane) of Edmonton and John (Judith) of Winnipeg. He will be irreplaceable in the hearts of his grandchildren, Heather, Grant, Eric, Brett, Quinn, Aaron and Evan. Barrie is also survived by his mother Poppy of Winnipeg; his brother Murray (Pat) of Minneapolis; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He was born on March 22, 1936 in Winnipeg, where he raised his family in Fort Richmond. Barrie was involved both directing and coaching hockey with both his sons. He loved his summers at the lake, fishing with his family around him. Barrie also loved to hunt with his family and friends on the hill. He will be sadly missed by his friends at Piston Ring and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Barries funeral service will be held on Monday, April 19 at 1:00 p.m. in Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave. at Mount Royal Road. Our family would like to express our thanks to the warm and caring staff on GD4 wing at the Health Sciences Centre.
