Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJIM (JAMES) WILLIAM NELSON DRURY CELEBRATION OF LIFE THURSDAY, APRIL 22, 2004 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. MASONIC TEMPLE 420 CORYDON AVENUE Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Jim William Nelson Drury passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2004, at the age of 66 years, with his family by his side. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 33 years, Patricia; his daughter Catherine; son-in-law Jude McCrimmon and beloved grandson Quinn. Jim was born and raised in Winnipeg. He enjoyed many years at the Winnipeg Roller Rink playing roller hockey and instructing others. Jim volunteered as associate director and director with the Red River Exhibition for 20 years. He worked in sales for 50 years, between Fraser Art Supplies, Artists Emporium and others. Jim dedicated the majority of his sales to the schools in Northwestern Ontario, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. He was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. Jim enjoyed camping and the close friendships he made out at Pioneer Bay in Pinawa. Friends are invited to join our family for a celebration of Jims life on Thursday, April 22, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Masonic Temple, 420 Corydon Ave. Our family would like to thank the St. Boniface Palliative Care Program for fulfilling his wish to remain at home. Special thank you to the Home Care nurses, Caroline and Jodine; and the Palliative Care Team for their compassion and care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jims memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. "Always remembered, always cherished.
