LAURA KRISTJANSON Peacefully on April 15, 2004 with her family at her side, Laura Kristjanson (nee Benedictson) passed away at the age of 86 years. Mom was born on March 11, 1918 in the Otto District. In 1947 she married Oscar Kristjanson and they had six children. Mom was a loving, caring mother and enjoyed bingo, dancing and playing cards, and was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her six sisters, four brothers, as well as her husband Oscar in 1983. She leaves to mourn her children, Dennis (Sherry), Sharrel (Jim), Laurel (Fred), Anita (Harvey), Karen, Dale, and also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20 at the Lundar Lutheran Church with Pastor Nancy Walker officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church. Interment to follow at the Lundar Municipal Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Larry Thorkelson, Donny Thorkelson, Jayson Beaman, Ashley Beaman, Michael Kristjanson and Bradley Williamson. A special thank you to the staff of the Lundar Personal Care Home for all the love and care they gave our mom.
