MAUREEN BANNISTER Peacefully on April 10, 2004 at the Health Sciences Centre Maureen passed away at the age of 67 years. Maureen was predeceased by her husband Raymond. She is survived by her children, Nigel, Clive, Elaine, Anita and their spouses, Stella, Wendy, Cliff and Bob; her grandchildren, Chandler, Jade, Kayla and Trina. Maureen will also be remembered by her special friend Ingrid and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Maureen was born in England, then immigrated to Winnipeg where she was head cook at Balmoral Hall School. Gardening, knitting and spending time with family were past times that Maureen enjoyed the most, as well as bingo. Maureen was a very kind and generous person who always thought of others first. Many thanks to GD4 and GD5 staff of the Health Sciences Centre for their care and support. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 20 at 3:00 p.m at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Reception and interment will follow. In lieu of flowers donations to CancerCare Manitoba, 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 will be greatly appreciated.
