PAULINA HLADY September 26, 1925- April 16, 2004 Peacefully, with her family by her side, Paulina passed away at Riverside Health Centre on Friday, April 16, 2004 at the age of 78 years. Paulina was predeceased by her husband Mike. She is survived by her children, Mike, Myron and Anna and her three grandchildren, Amber-Lynn, Cayla and Natasha. Paulina immigrated to Winnipeg from Poland in 1959. A short time later met Mike and married, and together raised their children. Paulina worked hard to provide for her family. Gardening, cooking, music, laughter and spending time with family and friends were what Paulina enjoyed the most. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, also a kind, sincere and generous person to her family and friends, Paulina will be sadly missed. Prayers will be said on Monday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A celebration of Paulinas life will be held on Tuesday, April 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers are John Okun, Mike Okun, Perry Perschel, Mike Swartz, Manoli Terezakis and Pastor Duane. The family wishes to thank the staff of 3-East at Riverview Health Care Centre for the kindness and care provided to Paulina. Flowers are gratefully declined.
