NETTIE LOUISE REINSCH (nee SCHROF) Nettie Reinsch passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Concordia Place. Nettie was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1980; by her brothers, Fred and Walter; and sister Clara Kaminsky. She leaves to mourn, her sons, Ronald (Carolyn), Allan (Marilyn) daughter Carole (David) Roberts; and grand-children, Candace (Dan Schettler), Heather, Rob (Karen Sullivan), Todd, Michelle, and Pam (David) Barton. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Gerda and Agnes Schrof and Hilda Reinsch. Nettie was born in Wing, IL on May 28, 1916 and came north to Canada in 1922, settling in Starbuck. Nettie and Bob married in 1935 and spent most of their life farming in Brunkild. Many enjoyable winters were spent in Arizona with friends and relatives. Nettie loved her family dearly. She loved to dance, play shuffleboard and bingo, and family get-togethers. Rest in peace Mom. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Lions Place, Dr. Barry Campbell, Deer Lodge Centre and Concordia Place. Cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held on Monday, April 19 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with Rev. Kolleen Karlowsky-Clark officiating.
