Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWARREN (CHUBBY) VISCA Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Warren (Chubby) Visca on Thursday, April 15, 2004 at the Pinawa Hospital at the age of 74 years. Warren leaves to mourn his sister Jean (George) of Lac du Bonnet, Lorne (Betty) of Winnipeg, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Marion, brother Jack and brother-in-law Frank. Chubby was born in Winnipeg, resided in Milner Ridge, later in Lac du Bonnet, MB. He served in the Royal Canadian Signal Corp. and was in active duty in Korea. After his tour of duty, he moved to British Columbia where he worked as a carpenter until he returned home to retire. His recent deterioration in health limited his activities, so time spent with family and friends was very special to him. On Wednesday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m., Chubbys funeral service will be held in the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, Lac du Bonnet, MB with Canon James Whitford officiating. A special "Thanks" to the staff at the Pinawa Hospital. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
