Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER BODNICK Peacefully on Friday, April 16, 2004, Peter passed away at Grace Hospital at the age of 91 years. Peter leaves to cherish his memory his four children, Jo Anne, Peter, Michael and Mary-Jo; four grandchildren, Nicole, Andrew, Jessica and Brandon (all of Ontario). He also leaves his sister Anne and brothers Mike and Nick. He will be sadly missed by all family and friends including many nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his parents Anne and Max; his brother Donald and sisters, May, Josie, Lena and Katie. Peter was born in Meleb, MB on October 15, 1912. He left the family farm as a young man working in lumber mills and several mines in Ontario. He finally settled in Toronto but came home often to visit relatives. Peter worked for the Toronto Transit Commission as an emergency trouble-shooter for 32 years. He was a proud and dedicated worker. Peter looked forward to his yearly hunting trips, always enjoyed his weekends dancing at the local legions and loved playing cards with relatives and friends during his visits to Winnipeg. Upon retiring he did some extensive travelling which he thoroughly enjoyed and shared many of his experiences with family and friends. Due to failing health, Peter came back to Winnipeg to reside at the Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home where he spent almost five years close to many relatives. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 20 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 21 at 11:00 a.m. also at the chapel. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peters memory to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
