JOHN BODNAR Peacefully, on Friday, April 16, 2004 at the Selkirk General Hospital with his beloved wife of 51 years, Elizabeth and family by his side, John Bodnar, aged 82 years, of Selkirk. Predeceased by his parents and brother Mike. John is survived by his wife Elizabeth; son Ronald (Kathy) only granddaughter Jenine; sister Stella (Walter) sister-in-law Ann; and numerous nieces and nephews. John was born on October 14, 1921 in Rackham, MB. He served in the army in The Second World War and in later years he worked in the heavy equipment industry until his retirement. John enjoyed staying at home and tending to his garden. Many thanks to the nursing staff and Dr. Badenhorst for their wonderful and loving care. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service to take place at a later date.
