ROBERT JOSEPH BAKER January 15, 1941 - April 17, 2004 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob Baker after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully with his devoted wife and family by his side. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife of 39 years, Juliette; daughters, Liana (Russ) Wanda (Richard) and Papas pride and joy granddaughter Mikhaila; sisters, Alice (Ernie), Marge, Ken (Kathy), Marilyn (Dennis), as well as many family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Annie; sisters, Kate, Nina, and brothers, Walter and Edward. His family wishes to thank all family and friends for their love and support during Bobs illness. The family wishes to thank the excellent staff at MICU and 5B at the St. Boniface Hospital and special mention to Dr. C. Oleweny, and Bonnie Johnson. A celebration of Bobs life will take place on Friday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations in Bobs memory may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
