STANLEY MOROZ 1913 - 2004 Peacefully, with his family by his side, on April 19, 2004 at Tuxedo Villa. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 61 years, Anne; his son Dr. Stan P. (Wendy) sister Lena of St. Paul, MN; grandsons, Jeffrey (Lianne) and Kevin (Kelly) granddaughter Megan; great-granddaughter Kendra and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Phillip and Mary; sisters, Ann and Nellie and brother Peter. Stan lived much of his life in East Kildonan. He built houses with his father and later worked for Lawrie Wagon and Carriage Co. and Coldstream Refrigeration Products retiring at age 70. He enjoyed curling, bowling and attending Winnipeg Blue Bombers games until bad knees forced his "retirement" from sports. He and Anne loved their summers at their cottage at Ponemah Beach. They were especially proud of the gazebo he designed and built. He was skilled at building and fixing things. His medium was wood, especially an old piece of wood. His many projects included the gazebo, birdhouses, bird feeders, car beds and a beautiful dollhouse for his granddaughter. He was always puttering. He would complete each project with "good enough", having fussed over every detail throughout. Anne helped when she could and proudly showed off photos of each project. With the arrival of each generation he watched his family grow, Attending their birthday parties, sporting events, graduations, weddings, etc. He had a quick wit which endeared him to everyone. He will be dearly missed. The family wishes to thank the staff at Tuxedo Villa for their loving care. Viewing will take place on Wednesday, April 21 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home (formerly Garry Memorial Funeral Home). Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 22 at 11:00 a.m. also in the Thomson "In the Park", Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., with Rev. J. Clark Saunders officiating. Pallbearers include Tom Lobay, Lawrence Lobay, Bruce Lobay, Ron Ottawa, Jeffrey Moroz and Kevin Moroz.
