Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN EVANS (nee MILNE) In loving memory, the family announces the passing of Jean on January 30, 2004 in her 88th year. Widow of the late Richard Edward Evans at the age of 38, Jean became the breadwinner for her children. For 27 years Jean worked with Dr. Crust and Dr. Davidson at the Pembina Medical Centre. But by far her most valued role was creating a strong sense of home to be enjoyed by her many friends and family. Jean will be lovingly be remembered by her son Tedd and his wife Linda; and by her daughter Nancy and her husband John Slidders; grand-children, Erica Martin and husband Guy, Kirsten Drybrough and husband Kieth, Sean Slidders, Jason Slidders and Marla Christie and husband Aaron; great-grandchildren, Julia, Madeline, Ryan and Kate; nephew Craig MacDonald; and nieces, Cathy Cousins and Debbie Collis. A memorial service to celebrate Jeans life will be held on Friday, April 23 at 4:00 p.m. in the St. Marys Magdelaine Anglican Church, 3 St. Vital Rd., Winnipeg. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at St. Boniface Hospital.
