LILLIAN ELEANORE ADAM (nee BOGGS) 1912 - 2004 Lillian was born in Kamsack, SK to Charles and Eleanore Boggs. She died peacefully with her family at her side on the 19th of April, 2004, at the age of 92 years. When she was 24, she married Gene and they raised their family in Ste. Rose du Lac and in Norwood. Years later, Lillian retired to Riverside Lions Manor in St. Vital. She was blessed with a wonderful memory and we enjoyed hearing the many stories she told of her life growing up on the prairies. Lillian was always a strong woman and we respected her for her integrity and her kindness. She lived for her children and we all are proud she was our Mom. Remaining to cherish her memory are her five children, Elvin (Joyce), Claudette (Barry), Ronald (Gloria), Phillip (Judy) and Raymond (Shirley) nine grandchildren, Donald (Pam), Marlene (Randy), Daryl, Marius, Leslie (Bob), Dominic, Nicola, Jay (Lisa) and Brett; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Katherine Reynaud and Elaine Bentley; and one brother Elvin Boggs. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene, sister Iona and grandson Todd. Friends and acquaintances always commented on her grace and style and she WAS gracious to the end. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the staff (5th floor) at Victoria Hospital. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated at St. Timothys Parish, 135 John Forsyth, St. Vital on Monday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. A private family graveside service will be held in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Ste. Rose du Lac, MB, where Mom will be buried with Dad. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Lillians memory to a charity of their choice.
