WAYNE DOMANKO Wayne Barry sadly on Sunday, April 18, 2004 passed away at the age of 56. Born January 30, 1948 in Winnipeg, a loving father, brother and uncle. He will always be remembered by his son Cody; and his mother Sandy; brother Merv; and sisters, LaVerne Martin (Doug), Gail Harper (Bob) and Valerie Huillery (Lorne) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Alma Domanko and brother-in-law John Thoms. Wayne spent his early years in Winnipeg, attending high school in Fort William, ON and returning to Winnipeg, working in the Parks & Recreation Department for the City of Winnipeg until his early retirement due to physical disabilities. His main interest in life was his son, Cody. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 22 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint).
