Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY MADELINE SPENCE (nee Maytwayashing) (CHISHTOO) On April 18, 2004 after a lengthly illness, it is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Mary was born in Eriksdale, MB on March 30, 1949. She was a neat and tidy person who always kept her house spotless. She loved to cook and visit with her family and friends, and she also enjoyed listening to her brothers play the guitar and sing. She will be sadly missed by all her family. She is survived by her children, daughter Nancy Campbell (Grant) sons, Edward Cameron (Sharon), Harry Campbell (Carla), Norman Spence; and special grandson Curtis Campbell; and numerous grandchildren; her sisters, Doris Norvel, Bernice (Clarence) brothers, Johnny (Flora), Roy, Sidney (Lorna) and Wayne, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Norman and Nancy Maytawashing; brother Glen Maytwayashing; sisters, Genevieve, Shirley, Julie; and niece Arlene; and daughter Ethel. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, April 21, and Thursday, April 22 at the residence of Sidney Maytwayashing on Lake Manitoba First Nation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church with Father Mario officiating. Interment to follow in the Lake Manitoba Reserve Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Swan, Harry Campbell, Aaron Campbell, Sheldon Maytwayashing, John Roulette, Russell Maytwayashing, Jackie Maytwayashing and Rachel Maytwayashing. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cecile Missyabit, uncle Edwin Sutherland, Stephanie Maytwayashing, Curtis Campbell, Franklin Maytwayashing, Loretta Maytwayashing, Georgina Henderson, Dennis Spence, Lucien Spence, and all close relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, Grace Hospital and special thanks to the staff at Charleswood Care Centre. arrangements by: ARNASON FUNERAL HOMES LTD.
