GEORGE MARION On April 21, 2004, after a valiant struggle, George succumbed to the cancer that had devastated his body but never succeeded in destroying his endurance, his will to live, nor his love and concern for others. George est ne le 12 mai 1922 a Saint-Jean-Baptiste ou il a demeure pendant plusieurs annees. Il residait a Saint-Malo depuis 1963. Il laisse dans le deuil son epouse Lucie (nee Lavallee) ainsi que ses freres et ses soeurs, Cecile Vermette, Florence Fillion, Agathe Gratton, Armand, Leo et Gisele, Denise et Herve Barnabe; ses beaux-freres et belles-soeurs, Gilbert Fontaine, Armand Faucher, Yvonne Foisy, Raymond Lavallee, Jacqueline Lavallee, Lucien et Marie Lavallee, Annette et Jacques Bohemier et Denise Marius. Uncle George loved children and he was a beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews along with their children and grandchildren. George was predeceased by many members of his extended family including his parents Ulric Marion and Angelina (nee Asselin) his brothers and sisters, Lucien, Germaine Desautels, Hortense Ayotte, David, Irene Fontaine, Fernand, Yvette Fontaine. Les funerailles auront lieu a lEglise de Saint-Malo le samedi 24 avril a 11h. Le service se terminera a leglise. Les cendres seront deposees dans le columbarium a Saint-Jean-Baptiste. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and caregivers who accompanied George throughout his illness.
