Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROMEO ANTONIO ADAM Romeo Adam died suddenly, but peacefully in his sleep at the St. Boniface Hospital on April 18, 2004 after a short stay. He was born in Skownan, MB, on February 11, 1911 and spent most of his early years in northern Manitoba. Romeo and his family moved to Calgary in 1959 where he worked as a realtor. Before long he had his own real estate firm which he operated until retirement. In 1995, Romeo moved to Winnipeg with his wife, Lorraine Adam (nee Bilodeau). After her death he moved to Catherine Place. Romeo is survived and lovingly remembered by his children, Marlene and Donald (Vancouver) his two grandchildren, Camille (Vancouver) and Marcel (Montreal) one great-grandchild, Dharma (Glasgow) a sister, Lucille Stoppel (Winnipeg) and brother, Pete Adam (Dauphin), nieces and nephews. Romeo was a dedicated family man who was never happier than when surrounded by family. The move back to Manitoba allowed him to reconnect with his relatives and he took great comfort in their closeness. Romeo loved music and often sang the old songs at various functions. He was an avid fisherman in his early years and enjoyed the outdoors. Romeo was a deep thinker who took an interest in current events. You filled a large space in our lives and will be missed. A reception will be held at Neil Bardal, 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 24 with a short presentation at approximately 2:45 p.m. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
