Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY HORVATH Peacefully, April 18, 2004 at the Vita Health Centre, Mary Horvath passed into eternal rest having reached the age of 92 years. Mary was born April 30, 1911 to Frank and Vera Horvath at South Bend, NJ and moved to the Menisino, MB area as a young child. It was in this area that she spent the next 70 years, living the rural pioneer lifestyle, attending school, working tirelessly to raise her family and eventually enjoying her opportunity to retire to a more leisurely pace. In 1985 she moved to Seniors Housing in Woodridge. Her recent years were spent in the care of daughter Elsie at Sprague. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children and their families, Elsie (George Listmayer of Sprague, Martin (Lois) Horvath of Steinbach, Mary (John) Byman of Menisino, Eddie (Gisele) Horvath of Buffalo Point, Rose (Stan) Goodman of Piney, Martha (Murray) Yankoski of Winnipeg; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and three sisters. She was predeceased by her loving daughter Anne in 2000, husband Louis in 1988, her parents and four brothers The memorial service will be held Saturday, April 24 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Larry Hirst officiating. Cremation has taken place. Private ash interment will take place at a later date. The family is grateful to the home care workers, nurses and staff of the Vita Health Centre for their compassionate care of our Mother.
