Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT NACHTIGALL It is with heavy hearts we sadly announce the sudden passing of our loving husband and cherished father. After a brave fight against pancreatic cancer, Rob passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at the age of 43 years. Remaining to cherish his memory is his wife Cindy of 17 years; three daughters, Jody (Dan), Jaysa and Kylee; mother Lydia Nachtigall; sister Nancy Godin (Ron), niece Nicole and nephew Ryan; brother Randy and niece Jordan. He will also be sadly missed by mother-in-law Olga Lupkowski and brother-in-law Jerry Lupkowski (Carole), niece Tessa and nephew Carter. Rob was also blessed with many aunts and uncles. Rob also appreciated the love and support of friends, coworkers and neighbours. Rob was predeceased by his dad Rudy in 1993 and twin infant brothers in 1961. Born November 8, 1960, Rob loved sports! Hockey and baseball were his passion in earlier years and he later developed a love for golf. He also enjoyed the camaraderie of the Epiphany Mens Breakfast Club. He was proud to be a part of Frito Lay Canada as a sales rep and trainer and loved his work. A memorial service to celebrate Robs life will take place at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 26 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 200 Dalhousie Dr., with Pastor Ed Mitchler officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Messieurs Brad Benoit, Phil Colosimo, Albert Joyal, Rolf Abt, Hubert Kuppe and god-son Ryan Godin. A private family interment will take place at a later time in St. Vital Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Epiphany Lutheran Church, or to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St., R3C 2B7. We did not walk this painful journey alone as our hands were held tight by many. For the millions of kindnesses, we are eternally grateful. "Best Friend, Good Father, Hard Worker" You followed the Light and now youre free! We will always love you. Death ends a life, not a relationship. You will live on in our hearts.
