NORA EMILY TOLAND Nora Emily passed away on April 20, 2004 in Ladysmith, BC, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Winnipeg, MB, February 1, 1936. Nora was a member of the Ladysmith Eagles and the Ladysmith Hospital Auxiliary. Predeceased by her loving husband Warren in 2003 and her son Ken 1994. She is survived by her grandson Cody; stepson Gerry Toland; sister Aileen Blyth of Winnipeg; nephew Len Blyth of Longeow Lake, ON; nieces, Janice Kariam of Gilbert Plains, MB, Eleanor Krovats of White Rock, BC; cousins, Madeline Talling of Winnipeg, MB, Freddie Binnie of Winnipeg, David Thompson of Victoria, BC, Dianne Beadle of Chemainus, BC and Janet Evans of Saltair, BC and dear friend Florence Kutaj of Ladysmith, BC. Memorial service was held on Thursday, April 22 in Ladysmith, BC. Rev. Canon R. Westaway officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ladysmith Hospital Auxiliary (Lifeline S.G.
