BEVERLY ELAINE ALLAN April 29, 1952 - April 21, 2004 With her family and dear friends by her side, Beverly passed away with grace and dignity at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg on Wednesday, April 21, 2004. Beverly was predeceased by her father, but is survived by the memories carried in the hearts and whispered on the wind as she leaves to mourn, her mother Peggy Allan; son Dale; sisters, Glenda-lee Allan and Bernice Greenwood; and brother Eric Allan; numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and extraordinary friends, Art, Gigi, Ralph, Faith, Jill, Roxane and Devin. Beverly was a very kind and compassionate person. She was dearly loved by her close friends, of who many became her extended family. Her giving nature allowed her to be a wonderful friend and confidant, she judged no one and always looked for the good in others. Her spirit will be deeply missed. As family, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Arron Mellon of the Charleswood Clinic for his care and compassion. The staff and support staff of the St. Boniface General Hospital Palliative Care will also be remembered for their overwhelming compassion and support during Moms final days. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 26 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. As per Beverlys wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 27 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home with Senior Pastor Robert G. Shepansky of Ness Avenue Baptist Church officiating. Floral tributes, if desired, should be sent directly to Chapel Lawn Funeral Home for the service. Otherwise, donations can be sent to CancerCare Manitoba, 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or St. Boniface Palliative Care, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6. "The love between a mother and her son is a priceless treasure, growing more beautiful with each passing year." Farewell my dear Mom, best friend and confidant.
