HELENE MADELAINE BILOUS Peacefully, at the Extendicare/Oakview Place Personal Care Home, on Friday, April 16, 2004, Helene passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her three sons, Fred (Marjorie) of Winnipeg, Bill (Lynda) of Headingley and Maurice "Moe" (Karen) of Calgary; and her grandchildren, Ken, Richard, Jennifer, Leanne, Michael, Sarah "Libby", Hailley and Scott. Helene was predeceased by her husband Bill, of 59 years of marriage, on February 9, 2000; sister Rachel; and brothers, Jules, Joe, Marcel, Andre, Maurice and Antoine. Helene was a stay-at-home mom. Moms passion, which was her life, was tending to her flowers and yard. She was especially proud of her flower garden. Mom spent many a day taking a short walk to the local bedding plant stand at the end of her street, purchasing flowers to add to her garden. She will be remembered as a very loving and caring mom and grandmother. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 30 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Amelie Roman Catholic Church, St. Amelie, MB. Interment will follow in the St. Amelie Cemetery, where mom will be buried next to dad.
