HELEN CHARNEY Peacefully at the Arborg Personal Care Home on Thursday, April 22, 2004, Helen, aged 88 years old, passed away. Helen was born in Shorncliff, MB to Peter and Maria Zaboroski. In September 1936 she married Michael Charney of Ledwyn where they farmed until 1983, when they retired and moved to Arborg, MB. In 2000 due to failing health, Helen moved to the Arborg Personal Care Home. Mom was an avid gardener, homemaker and loved the outdoors. Her family was of the utmost importance to her. Remaining to cherish her memory are her daughters, Adeline (Kris) Johnson, Lorraine (Hermann) Palsson; grandchildren, Jacequeline (Jeff) Vincent, Michael Johnson, Kenneth (Jami) Johnson, Naomi (Allan) Harley, Ian (Mandy) Palsson and Marc (Lori) Palsson; great-grandchildren, Donald, Kyle, Robyn Vincent, Drew Johnson, Kristjan Harley and Larissa Palsson; her brother John (Anne) Zaboroski and sister Pat Mady and numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her parents; husband Michael; sisters, Anne, Nellie, Pauline and brother Eddy. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the staff at the Arborg Personal Care Home. There were many of you with which Mom felt a very special bond. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and sons-in-law. Funeral services will be held at St. Philips Neri Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 28 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your own choice.
