ADELE FERNANDA COSTANTINI (nee MELCHIORRE) Peacefully following a brief illness, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Adele Costantini with her family by her side on April 22, 2004 at her residence at the age of 73 years. Adele will be lovingly remembered by her husband Vincenzo Costantini; daughter Josephine Esposito (Gennaro) and grandchildren, Vincenzo Esposito and Fernando Esposito. She is also survived by her father-in-law Domenico Costantini; sisters, Giannina Dignazio (Garibaldi Dignazio), Ginetta, Maria, Giuseppina of Italy; nieces and nephews, Lawrence, Colin, Sara, Sabrina, Lisa, Dan, Zachary, Alana, Domenico, Sabrina, Giulia, Mario, Laura, Richard, Angelo, Alexia, Marco, Mario, Assunta, Ulderico, Franca, Enzo, Sofia, David, Mathew, Angelo, Clara, Michael and Tania. She came to Winnipeg in 1965 and worked at Monarch Wear and Misericordia Hospital. Adele will always be remembered for her overwhelming kindness and generosity. She loved gardening, cooking and especially her grandchildren, family members and friends. Prayers will be said on Sunday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 26 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. with Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment will take place at the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley St. Pallbearers will be Vincenzo, Lawrence, Domenico, Marco, David, Michael, Richard, Enzo and Dan. Following the entombment, the gathering of friends will be held at Thomson "In the Park", Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. The family would like to thank Dr. Salem and family, the staff at Victoria Hospital and many thanks to the family members and friends for always being there at the time of need, Father Sam, Sabrina and The Palliative Home Care Program.
