RUTH MARION NIELSEN Ruth Marion Nielsen passed away peacefully at home on April 22, 2004. She was born on September 1, 1939 to parents, Anton and Anna Nielsen. She was baptized and confirmed in the Ostenfeld Lutheran Church and lived at home in this community her whole life. She is survived by her brother Norman at home, her sister Ethel (Dr. Philip) Smyth of Grandforks, ND and her niece Barbara (Andy) Sobkovich of Woodland Hills, CA. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to friends and neighbours for their thoughtfulness towards her during her lifetime. A special thank you also to all the home care workers, social services and all the nurses for your care and concern, especially in the last few months. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Ostenfeld Lutheran Church on Wednesday, May 5 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Charlotta Kalthoff officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Ostenfeld Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
