LILA PASSEY January 6, 1920 - April 22, 2004 It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful, but sudden passing of their beloved "Grannie" Lila Passey on Thursday, April 22, 2004 at the Park Manor Perso`nal Care Home. Lila was predeceased by her husband Harold (2001) her daughters, Deirdra Evelyn (1999) and Linda Gail (1942). She leaves to cherish her many memories, daughter Leona Troyniak (Daryl) grandchildren, Linda (Ron), Suzanne (Glen), Jennifer, Brent (Lisa), Jodene (Davian) great-grandchildren, Nicole, Broderick, Bryan; and sister Marjorie Conley. Lila was a courageous and strong woman, who always maintained a positive attitude even when faced with personal challenges. She was always involved in all the various Park Manor Programs and family functions. Her cheerful smile and quick wit will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to extend special thanks to all the staff at Park Manor Personal Care Home for the care and compassion given to Lila during her stay. A celebration of Lilas life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26 at St. Georges Anglican Parish, 321 Pandora Ave. W. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arthritis Society.
