"ED" ERDMAN DUECK

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory"ED" ERDMAN DUECK 1917 - 2004 Erdman, passed away peacefully at the St. Norbert Nursing Home, on April 23 at 86 years of age. He was born on a farm, in southern Manitoba (Rosenfield), a son to Bernhard and Helena (Rempel) Dueck and a brother in a family of eight children. Two sisters, Annie Doersken and Mary Unrau, and three brothers, John, Ben and Pete, predeceased him. He is survived by two sisters, Helena Hamm and Justina Taylor, and a large extended family. He married Hazel Highmoor on July 28, 1947. They lived in Winnipeg and had a son and daughter. Erdman was predeceased by their son Russell (1987), and by his loving wife, Hazel (1994). Their daughter Diana and son-in-law Kirk Marat, four grandchildren; Sharlene and Heather Dueck, Andrea and Kevin Marat, as well as daughter-in-law Cathie Dueck survived him. He studied the Bible and believed in its teachings. He was an active Christian and worshipped with the CHURCH OF CHRIST (Osborne and McMillan). "Eddie" worked for Burns Meat Packing Co., ran his own radio/TV repair business, built three houses for his family and helped with the building of the church building on Osborne St. Special thanks is extended to the staff at St. Norbert. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy No. 1 East and Navin Road.
