ANGELINA TCHEON It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother Angelina Tcheon on Friday, April 23, 2004 at the Health Sciences Centre. Angelina was predeceased by her husband Juvenaldo of 45 years in 1998 and leaves to mourn her loving son J. Mario Tcheon and daughter-in-law Clara along with her grandchildren, Kevin and Sara. Also left to mourn are her sister Lidia of Portugal, her brother Americo and sister-in-law Antonia of Newark, NJ, her niece Francelina and husband Fernando of Portugal as well as many other family member and friends. Born on August 15, 1930 in Pardilho, Portugal, Mom moved to Lisbon at a young age where she lived most of her youth and young adult life. She married Dad on June 27, 1954. The family immigrated to Canada in 1968. Mom worked very hard throughout her life. In recent years she most enjoyed her trips to Portugal every six months where she visited and spent some quality time with family there. Mom was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She especially enjoyed spending time with and fussing over her grandchildren. The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to Dr. P. McDonald along with the staff of the SICU and A5 at the Health Sciences Centre for all the compassionate and loving care. Prayers and viewing will take place 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 26 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. with Msgr. Maurice Comeault presiding. Funeral mass 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 27 at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 250 Burrin Ave., Winnipeg with Msgr. Michael Moore presiding. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
