Offer Condolences or MemoryMAJOR LLOYD JACK (RET) BUSH Major Lloyd Jack Bush (Ret) passed away on April 19, 2004 at Chilliwack, BC at age 82 years. He was born on January 26, 1922 in Port Arthur, Thunder Bay District, ON. Jack is survived by his wife of 57 years, Violet; daughter Kathryn Teasdale (Yvan) of Aylmer, ON; son Richard (Marcella) Bush of Chilliwack, BC; five grandchildren, Jacqueline, Denis, Katrina, Adam and Christopher; one great-grandson Nicholas; sister-in-law, Sue Bush of Quesnel, BC and numerous nieces and nephews. Three brothers and three sisters predeceased him. Jack was educated as an Engineering Draughtsman. A veteran of D-Day, Jack served in several regiments including the Winnipeg Rifles, The Queens own Rifles and the PPCLI. He was an Emergency Program Coordinator for the Municipality of Saanich for 11 years. He also authored "On and Off Duty". Many thanks to the staff of Macintosh Lodge for their support and care.
