MORLEY FORD GREENHAM Surrounded by his family, Morley Greenham passed away peacefully on April 25, 2004. He was born in Clarkleigh, MB on May 3, 1920, the only son to Gladys and Clarence Greenham. Morley was a dearly beloved husband to Audrey, his wife and partner of 57 years. He was a wonderful husband, supportive father, esteemed grandfather and honoured great-grandfather. Dad lived his entire life farming in Clarkleigh. Dad loved and cared for everyone and everything he came in contact with in his life. Everyone around him felt that love. Dad was good to people always putting everyone else first. He saw the best in everyone and everything. He was generous, kind and thoughtful. He loved his family, his friends, his neighbours, his land, his cattle and even his John Deeres. Dad had a strong faith, he was very dedicated and involved with the Clarkleigh United Church. Once, a friend of the family asked during Bible study, "Who knows a Godly person?" She raised her hand, "I know a man who charms even the cows with his smile. You can see God in his eyes, they are so warm, so full of love and peace. They are, like him, filled with such kindness, compassion and acceptance - he does not even know you and he loves and accepts you." As well as his wife Audrey, Morley leaves to cherish his memories, daughter Wendy (Jim), grandchildren, Diane (Jeff), Michelle (Jamie), Wayne (Tara), Sheila (Keith), Stephanie (Steve), Brad (Justine), great-grandchildren Gregory, Lisa, Evan, Tyler and Austyn; daughter, Judy (Bill), grandchildren Lyle (Lisa), Jill (Scott) son Tom (Kathleen), grandchildren Ryan (Laura) and Darcy; daughter Norma (Malcolm), grandchildren Delaney (Virgil), Jordan (Rahim), Ryan, Ennis; daughter Gracie (Dan), grandchildren Rachel and Emily; daughter Lorraine (Larry), grandson Jeremy; along with numerous friends and relatives. A special thank you needs to be extended to Mom because many times, as Morleys children, we often heard him say "What a wonderful woman your mother is" and "What good care she takes of me". The family also wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Neil Burnet and the staff at the Eriksdale Memorial Hospital as well as the staff at the HSC and MICU for their compassion and care. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2004, at the Lundar Legion Hall with Rev. Melanie Kauppila and Rev. Cliff McMillan officiating. Interment to follow in the Clarkleigh Cemetery. Everyone who knew Morley should consider themselves an honorary pallbearer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Morleys memory to the Clarkleigh United Church, c/o Isabel Troy, General Delivery, Lundar, MB R0C 1Y0. Arrangements by: Arnason Funeral Homes Ltd.
