MAVIS GUSTAFSON (nee WATSON) July 26, 1939 - April 24, 2004 Suddenly on Saturday, after a brief illness, Mavis Aldine Gustafson passed away at the age of 64. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard; son Dale; second husband Bill Meixner; and her parents, Rose and Harry Watson. Mavis is survived by her children, Les (Judy), Lorrie (Darlene), Garrett, Kirk and Corinne (Vince) grandchildren, Cora-Les, Kyrie, Shane, Chris, Jordan, Eric, and Braxton; sisters, Marlene (Rolly), Diane (Pat), Joyce (Bill), Shirley; and brothers, Garnet and Roger (Karen) and many nieces and nephews. Mavis was always alert and inquisitive, she loved to read and go to McDonalds. She always looked forward to family get-togethers. In her younger years, she liked to go camping with her family and hunting with her husband Len. Gardening was her favourite pastime. She was always full of fun and humour and we will miss her dearly. The family appreciated the kindness and care provided by the staff at the Luther Home. We will miss our time spent there visiting our mother, although she insisted on going home all the time, we know she was quite content there. Thank you. Upon Maviss wishes, cremation has already taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mom, you will live on in our hearts forever!
