AMARIO DOTTAVIO May 1, 1922 - April 26, 2004 It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Amario DOttavio with his family by his side on Monday, April 26, 2004 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 81 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Maria; sons, Angelo (Rosa), Claudio (Dina), Alberto (Angela) grandchildren, Amario, Diana, Alexander, Amanda, Danielo, Maria, Mariella and Matthew. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Alfredo, Guglielmo, Rovenza, Pia, all of Italy and Elena of Winnipeg, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Amario was predeceased by his father Giuseppe and mother Angela-Maria; brothers and sisters, Fiore, Mellina, Filomena, Anselmo, Attilio, all of Italy. Prayers will be said on Thursday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 30 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 510 River Ave, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Ave. Pallbearers, Angelo DOttavio, Claudio DOttavio, Alberto DOttavio, Amario DOttavio, Alexander DOttavio and Victorio DOttavio. The family would like to thank Dr. Babeck and all the staff at Concordia Hospital and CancerCare Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Amarios memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
