LEONA MAE (BUNNY) KENNEDY (nee McCUMBER) August 24, 1938 - April 26, 2004 Bunny lost her battle after a lengthy illness. She will be sadly missed by her family and many, many friends. In her healthier years, Bunny worked as a volunteer for several causes for which she received numerous awards. She was always there to lend a helping hand and the first to offer support. Bunny is predeceased by her parents, her aunt Leona and sisters, Mary and Pamela. She is survived by her sons, Kelly (Krista), Ken (Shar) and daughter Kimberly (Allan) 10 grandchildren; her longtime companion, Alfred Fontaine; seven sisters; three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with cremation to follow. A viewing will be held one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
