Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY (DOLLY) ETHEL BOYCE Surrounded by all her loving family Dorothy Boyce (Dolly) passed away peacefully on April 27, 2004. Mom was born June 14, 1924 at Pound Hill, Sussex, England and came to Canada as a warbride in 1947 with two daughters. She made many friends while working at catering and volunteering and enjoyed travelling back to England many times to visit family. Mom will always be remembered for her love of family, lots of hugs and kisses, endless baking, special holidays, ability to share a laugh, caring and understanding of each and every person she knew and making people always feel welcome. Dorothy is survived by her 10 children Evelyn (Alex), Margaret (Clarence), Almer (Marilyn), Tom (Lenore), Edie (Dave), Terry (Debbie), Jim (Maureen), Marilyn (Jim), Allan (Zelly), and Heather (Matt) 24 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; a sister Rose (Jim) and brother Ted; and numerous nieces and nephews in England. She was predeceased by her husband Almer in June of 2002; her parents, Nellie and George Green; and brother Gordon in England. The family would like to thank the Tudor House staff and Drs. Demsas and Lindenschmidt for their exceptional and loving care of our mom. A viewing will be held at Gilbart Funeral Home on Friday, April 30 (today) from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral services to follow at Christ Anglican Church, 202 McLean Ave. at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Canon Bryan Bjerring officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Clements Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Always loved, Never to be forgotten.
