Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY MAZUR December 1916 - April 2004 Mary passed away suddenly to her eternal home, on Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Stan; daughter-in-law Ides; granddaughters, Laurel Nakka (Trevor) with their dear children, Megan and Rachel, and Lisa Mazur, all of Calgary. She is also survived by her brother Harry (Josie) of Edmonton; sisters-in-law, Betty, Kay and Mary Zalischuk (Harry) and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband John (1990) and infant son Charles; her parents, John and Nellie Holigroski; brothers, Nick, Mike, Steve; sisters, Jean Boychuk, Ada Galay, Elsie Baumgartner and Anne Schumila. Born on December 6, 1916 at Ladywood, MB, she married John in 1934, eventually farming the former Mazur "homestead" in Allegra for the next 20 years. Mary and John kept close ties with their farming "roots" even when residing in Winnipeg. In her latter years she enjoyed travels to Arizona and Alberta but was happiest with family and friends she encountered wherever she went. A prayer service will be held on Sunday, May 2 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Fr. Antoni Degutis officiating the funeral service on Monday, May 3 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rudy Mikoluff, Lorne, Howard, and Bob Holigroski, Mort and Elmer Schumila. A special thank you is extended to Marys doctors, friends, nursing and Home Care staff at Luther Home and, recently, Maples Personal Care Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marys memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Cancer Society, or a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
