ISABELLA (ISA) JARDINE OBRIEN March 20, 1924 - April 28, 2004 Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Isa OBrien aged 80 years of Selkirk, MB. Isa is survived by her husband Charles; son Charlie (Gabriele) and children, Kathleen and Evan; daughter Eileen (Tony) and daughter Megan; as well as numerous friends. Isa and Charles were married on December 27, 1946 in Dumfries, Scotland. After raising her family Isa went to work at the Selkirk Mental Hospital, where she worked until her retirement. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, April 30 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses in ICU at the Selkirk General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. Mother You can only have one mother, Loving, kind and true, No other friend in all the world Will be so true to you. For all her love and kindness She asked nothing in return. If all the world deserted us To our Mother we could turn. For those of you who have a mother Treasure her with care, For you will never know her value Til you see that shes not there.
