ARUN KUMAR SUD It is with profound and indescribable sadness that we announce the untimely passing away of Arun Kumar Sud on April 27, 2004. Born in India on July 30, 1963. Arun grew up in Manitoba and was a valuable member of the communities he was a part of. Arun was a young man of exceptional interests and talents, who sought beauty in life through art, music and literature, and strived for perfection in all that he did. Arun, as the years pass by, we will remember you: My son, I will remember your soft-spoken words, compassion, diligence and resilience. My son, I will remember your gentle ways and acts of kindness towards family and friends. Our shared moments and special gifts made your life a treasure for me. My brother, I will remember you as my hero and my source of inspiration. I will miss your sweet, soft expressions and voice. My brother, I will remember and continue to admire your determination and the will-power you showed throughout your life. Our loving nephew and cousin, we will remember how you shared your talents in dance, singing and painting with us, and added to our pleasure with your skits, storytelling, singsongs, and games. Arun, you will be dearly missed by your family and friends in Canada, United States and India. We express our heartfelt thanks to all the agencies and volunteers who assisted us in searching for Arun. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 1 at 1:00 p.m. at the Thomson "In The Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., Tel. 925-1120. Prayers (Shantipath) will be held on Sunday, May 2 at 3:00 p.m. at the Hindu Temple, 854 Ellice Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Aruns memory to Manitoba Schizophrenia Society, 3-1000 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2E 0N3. Donations will go towards establishing a memorial scholarship-award in his name.
