DR. CHI-HIM LOH It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chi-Him Loh, our beloved husband, father and grandfather on Thursday, April 29, 2004 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 74 years. Left with wonderful memories of him and an example of a life well lived, is his loving wife of 47 years Ling; and three children, Joseph (Sylvia) of Toronto, Kwanyee (Paul), Drs. Kwanling (David) of Calgary; and four grandchildren who he adored, Andrea, Stephanie, Laura and Alexa. He will also be missed by his two sisters, Amy Wong of New York, Yim Bing of Vancouver; three brothers, Chi Cheung (Sarah) of New York, Dr. Chi Chong (Chin Chi), Chi Yuen (Susan) of Vancouver and many nieces and nephews and relatives. He was born on January 27, 1930 in Canton, China and immigrated to Canada in 1976. He practiced family medicine at Ellice Medical Group from 1987 to 2000. For his children, dad was a model of encouragement and an inspiring example of integrity and honesty. We loved him dearly. Dad will be remembered by so many whose lives he touched with his gentle warmth and kindness. "Forever in our Hearts" Funeral service will take place on Monday, May 3 at 2:00 p.m. in the Thomson "In the Park", Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. with interment to follow in Thomson "In the Park" Cemetery. Our thanks to everyone for their prayers and loving support over the past month, especially Uncle Chongs family and David and Susan Chin. We wish to express our gratitude to all the doctors and nursing staff at the St. Boniface Hospital MICU and Palliative Care Unit for their care and support in dads final days.
