Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT GEORGE McCULLOCH September 23, 1913 - April 27, 2004 Robert passed away peacefully at the Vancouver General Hospital and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary Anne; and devoted family, son William McCulloch; daughter Carolyn Kingston (Barry) and stepdaughters, Claire Harcus (Ron) and Joanne Haramia; and the many nieces and nephews of sister Ruth Bracken (Gordon) and late sister Eleanor Robson (Clayton) and grandchildren, James Harcus, Christianne Campbell and Kathryn Greenwood. Roberts career included naval service in the Second World War (1941 to 1948) as Lieutenant Commander, and a distinguished business and philanthropic career. He rained as Executive Vice-President and Director of Midland Doherty Securities. Robert was beloved by all who knew him. He had a capacity to make and keep lifelong friendships. He will be remembered for his generosity, tolerance, sincerity, sense of humour and deep respect for others. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4 at Canadian Memorial Church, 1808 West 15th Avenue, Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
