GOVERT (GEOFF) MUYS We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Govert (Geoff) Muys on April 29, 2004, at the age of 95 years. Predeceased by his wife Erika, Geoff (Opa) is lovingly remembered by his son Fritz (Monika), and grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Geoff had a great love of music. He mastered the violin, saxophone and clarinet, and often played the organ for his own enjoyment and for the pleasure of his family. Geoff always had a lively tale of his past childhood and the many experiences he had as a professional musician and member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Many thanks to the caring staff of the third floor at Concordia Hospital who made his last days comfortable. A memorial service and gathering to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, May 6 at 10:00 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road.
