GEORGE HAZEN CARR George Hazen Carr has peacefully passed away with dignity on April 30, 2004. He was born in Sussex, NB on February 7, 1940. He is survived by his loving wife Ruth of 37 years, sons, David and Darcy Lahn and their families of Winnipeg and his mother Phyllis Greene of Apohaqui, NB, sons, Kevin, David, Mike, and daughter Shelley of Hamilton and their families, and sisters, Pauline Thompson, Barb Gilchrist, Kelly Filmore of New Brunswick and Joan Greene of Toronto, and brothers, Earl and Fraser Greene of New Brunswick, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was employed by Felec Services (Dewline) through the 1970s, also by Munro Construction and NDL Construction, and had numerous jobs in northern Manitoba and western Ontario. He had a special way of making any piece of heavy equipment dance. He will be sadly missed by his many friends. The family would like to thank the doctors and all the staff at Riverview Health Centre 3E for their Special Care throughout Georges Journey. Flowers are gratefully accepted and friends may make donations to the Riverview Health Centre. Memorial Service 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 4 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. "Peacefully sleeping, resting at last.
