RONALD DONALD WOROBEY Born in Winnipeg December 10, 1937 Ron passed away in Kelowna, BC on May 1, 2004. With heavy hearts his family announces the loss of a wonderful dear husband, father, and grandfather. Cherishing his memory are Joyce his wife of 44 years; his daughter Rhonda of Winnipeg; his son Ron (Allison) and his grandchildren, Ryan and Carly of Tustin, CA. He is also survived by his brother Wally (Ollie) of Kelowna; his sister Lee (Eddie) Fedishon of Newport Beach, CA. Ron will be remembered as an avid water skier at Grand Beach, MB, as the Commodore of the Redboine Boating Club on the Red River in Winnipeg and as a Gourmet Cook on his many RVing excursions around North America. The family would like to thank the Kelowna General Hospital Palliative Care 4B and especially, Elizabeth Folk for the compassion and care they gave to Ron during his stay. The memorial service to be held at Grace Baptist Church 1150 Glenmore Trail, Kelowna, BC on Monday, May 3 at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Gordon Denison officiating. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice or to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Springfield Funeral Home, Kelowna, BC.
