Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE CLIFFORD EASTMAN "CHEEP" Following a lengthy illness, on Saturday, May 1, 2004, surrounded by his loving family, Lawrence Clifford Eastman, "Cheep" peacefully went to be with the Creator at the age of 60 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife, Angela; his mother Marie-Angele; his special nephew/adopted son, Edward Jr. (wife Georgina) grandchildren, Wade, Natalya, Waylon Joe; his adopted son Oliver Dumas (friend Patty) grandchildren, Keanu, Montana, Joseph, Theresa, and Curtis; brothers, Russell (Peggy), Edward Sr. (Iris), Frank (Connie), Gerald (Norma), Mervin (Fiona), Christopher (Susan) sisters, Laura (Willie), and Kelly (John), and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Clements; his sister Colleen; brother Larry; infant sisters, Marie Florence and Alvina; brothers, Harry, Joseph William. Clifford was born at Sandy Bay First Nation on September 30, 1943. He was married to Angela Eastman (Roulette) on November 23, 1963, to whom he was happily devoted for 41 and one half years. He had an infectious smile and greeted all who came to him with a gentle, caring smile. He especially enjoyed the company of his grandchildren, his friends, and all his relatives. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Seven Regions Health Centre in Gladstone, MB and the Medical Intensive Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg for their wonderful care and support. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 5 at 2:00 p.m. in Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Mike Nwosu officiating. Interment will follow in the Sandy Bay Cemetery. Clarkes Funeral Home, Gladstone - MacGregor in care of arrangements.
