GRACE MARGARET PFEIL (nee WILLIMENT) Peacefully on May 1, 2004 at the Victoria Hospital, Grace Pfeil passed away. She leaves to cherish her memory children, Raymond (Helen), Marilyn (Ron), Allan (Leslie) of Winnipeg, Karen (Terry) of Calgary; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; her sister Olive Morrow of Morden; Edgar of Carman, Elmer of Winnipeg, numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was predeceased by an infant daughter Lorraine; her parents; her husband John in 1993; son-in-law Winston Pratt; brothers, Allan, Frank, Walter, Raymond and her sister Alice McIntyre. Grace was born on January 2, 1916 to Emmanuel and Emma Williment. She was raised on a farm in the Miami area. She married John in 1935 and they farmed in the Opawaka district, until she moved to St. Vital in 1957. Grace had a deep faith, and a great love of nature and gardening. Her family was her life. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. Sincere thanks to Home Care, Rose, Robin, Janice, Debbie and others for their kindness provided to our mother. Thanks to the staff at Victoria Hospital for making Moms last days comfortable. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7.
