ANDRE (ANDY) HEBERT In loving memory of Andre (Andy) Hebert of Vermilion Bay who passed away May 1, 2004 at the age of 64. Andy was born in Cape de Madelaine, QC on October 15, 1939 to Eva and Lucien Hebert. After moving to Lac du Bonnet in 1944, he relocated to Winnipeg in 1959. In April 1967, he married Joan Douville. A year later, they welcomed their baby girl, Monique, into their lives. After they welcomed their son Michel into the world they moved to Lac du Bonnet for 11 years. In August 1980 they moved to Vermilion Bay where they have since resided. Andy loved spending his time with his family and gardening. He and his wife were happily married for 37 years. Andy was employed by Kirouac Contracting for 26 years driving the pulp and chip trucks. Andy was predeceased by his father Lucien in 1971, his son Michel in 1991, and his mother Eva in 1999. Surviving Andy are his wife Joan; daughter Monique and Dean; grandchildren Jennifer, David, Robert, and Sheldon, Jeannine and Emile Chouinard of Winnipeg, Henriette Hebert of Winnipeg, Claude and Nadia Hebert of Vernon, BC, Doris and Leonard Byczek of Lac du Bonnet, MB, Madeline Geller of Winnipeg, Michael and Joanna Hebert of Winnipeg, sister-in-law Lorna and Rick Magill of Vancouver, BC; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Vermilion Bay, with Fr. Luigi Filippini officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Machin Medical Clinic Equipment Fund or the Dryden Regional Health Centre CAT Scan Fund through the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
