Since early childhood, Patricia was keenly interested in the study and performance of music and stage. She played the lead in many of her school and church operettas and plays and competed two years in solo voice in the Winnipeg Music Festival. With her husband, she enjoyed 10 years of extensive travel as a live-aboard on a sailboat and with a recreational trailer before moving to Sechelt, BC in 1983 to renew her love of home and garden.
