VICTOR VENIER Passed away suddenly at Calmar, AB on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at the age of 88 years, Victor Venier, formerly of Winnipeg and Wawanesa, MB. Vic leaves to mourn his passing his daughters, Judy (Rick) Sabiston of Calmar, AB, Joyce (Leonard) Chalanchuk of Wawanesa; son Wayne (Tracey) of Winnipeg; 11 grandchildren, Doug (Kim), Tim, Jeff, Terry (Melissa), Jennifer (Steven), Chelsie (Nelson), Amber, Suzanne (Bart), Brock, Justin and Chase; and by great-grandchildren, Kristen, Karlie, Haley and Luvin. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Muriel Venier of Penticton, BC, Bernice Churcher of Winnipeg; and by a brother-in-law Mick Mitchell of Wawanesa. Vic was predeceased by his wife Ethel (nee Mitchell) in 1995, parents, Charles and Anastasia and by his brothers, Art, Joe and Jim. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the Wawanesa United Church with Rev. Margret Kristjansson and Leigh Sinclair officiating. Interment to follow in the Wawanesa Cemetery. Friends that so desire memoriams may be made in Vics memory to a charity of ones choice.
