ANGELO BALBO 1943 - 2004 It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearest Angelo on Tuesday, May 4, 2004. Angelo was predeceased by his father Salvatore and is survived by his wife Candace; daughters, Janique (Schubert), Victoria and Nina. Also to miss him are his siblings, Lena (Henri), Rocco, Maria (Aldo), Victoria (Salvatore) and mother Josephine. Angelo was born in Butera, Sicily and was raised in Pecquencourt, France where he acquired the rare trade of master painter. Over the years, after settling in Manitoba, many of us were fortunate to have Angelos talents as a skilled craftsman displayed in our homes and properties. His generous heart was also well received by local Winnipeg shelters and soup kitchens. Pastor Dyke of Crossroads Church will preside over a Wednesday, May 12 memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Crossroads Church, 231 Kitson St. where a reception is to follow. An interment in Swan River, MB is planned on Thursday, May 13. We will miss you dearly Papa!
