Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWIN LEWIS DANLEY Peacefully on May 6, 2004, Ed Danley passed away at the Bayside Home in Killarney at the age of 82. He will be sadly missed by his son Michael, grandchildren, Jennifer, Michelle and Mark, daughter-in-law Joy, brother Joe (Mary), nieces Sharon and Barbara, nephews Allan, Brian and Barry and best friends Morris and Wilma Sylvestor and many other friends. Ed was predeceased by his wife Alice and his sons, Douglas and Darrel. Ed was born in Heathill, England on May 4, 1922. He sailed to Canada with his family in April 1927 where they settled on a farm in Neelin, MB. In later years has a young man he joined the R.C.A.F. and became a Spitfire Pilot in the Second World War. After the war he started his own business and saved enough money to buy a farm back home in Neelin. Ed had a love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, and sharing a story with a friend, most of all he loved his boys. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. Thanks to the staff at Bayside for providing Dad with comfort and care beyond compare. A service will be held at Wheatland Chapel in Killarney on Thursday, May 13 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please hug a Veteran.
